Part 2: Relax, Rejuvenate, refresh REPEAT.
Welcome to the next segment in my "Quarantine Shic" mini series. Self care is so vital to keeping your mental state in check. This is the time, even though it's an unusual one, to give ourselves a little break from the outside world and focus on improving our minds & bodies. I forced retreat if you will. What better way to unwind than with some spa quality treatments from the comfort of your own home. You deserved this!
SHOP Self Care
Skincare selects
A good beauty routine can help normalize your daily schedule. Quality products will make your skin look and feel good. The bright side to staying inside is not having to put on makeup daily (I have not worn makeup for almost 5 days now)! Take this time of solitude to heal your skin and get it back on a good track. Here are some of my favorite moisturizers , serums, and oils to add to your skincare regimen.
Feel good Face Masks
Want to give your skin some extra support? Masking always makes me feel like I'm doing the most with the least effort. Sit back, pour yourself a class of wine, and enjoy one of these ultra rejuvenating masks at any time of the day (no one is watching, literally).
Shower Essentials
Want to know what makes me feel that most refreshed when I'm stressed or in a slump? A nice warm shower (I may or may not be writing this segment in a big fuzzy robe rn)! I would take baths on the regular if I had more time in my daily life, and luckily for most of us right now, we do! Scroll through below for a selection shower steamers, bath bombs, and shower oils I know will help soothe away your worries.
All the of Accessories
I want to make sure you can enjoy your at home spa experience to the fullest extent! Utilize this time of solidarity to test out some new tools and see what works best for your skin type. Pop a jade roller in the freezer or grab a light therapy mask, you might be pleasantly surprised with your results. Finding a new skincare product you love and incorporating it into your overall routine might be the type of positivity you need right now. I've got gadgets and gizmos a plenty linked below and ready for you to explore!
I will be continuing to post more about being "Quarantine Shic" over the next few weeks. If there is a topic you want me to write about please comment below or DM on @shabbilyshic. Don't forget to share your favorite quarantine products, advice, and activities using #QuarantineShic.
